Jim Iacometti, CPA
Managing Director

Jim is a former Partner in a CPA firm and has sixteen years of experience in public accounting, ten of which involved developing and managing one of the largest ERISA audit departments in Orange County, Ca.  His responsibilities included preparation of audited and reviewed financial statements, accounting and reporting issues, client engagement management, and internal firm management.  His experience includes project management, personnel management, effective risk management, strong technical accounting ability, design and implementation of information and software systems, and creation of accounting policy and procedure manuals.

Currently, as an HRA, Employee Benefit, and Retirement Plan consultant, Jim continues to advise owners and executives in strategic planning and risk management. Jim has experience and expertise in designing custom HRA plans that maximize employer savings, minimize employer risk, and still provide affordable healthcare to employees. Jim has been a keynote speaker to a variety of audiences across the country about Consumer Directed Healthcare (HSA’s and HRA’s). 

Jim has a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from San Diego State University.  He has served on several Boards as a Director; including his Church, parochial school, and the American Diabetes Association – Orange County Chapter. 

 

 

 

Consumer Driven Healthcare Plan Designer Noel Trias

 

Noel J. Trias, MSFS
Managing Director

Noel J. Trias has over nineteen years experience in the financial services and benefits industry with a primary focus in the corporate benefit trust and retirement plan markets.  Since he has previously served as a controller, Noel brings a strong accounting and financial background when consulting with corporate clients.

Noel oversees the Retirement Plan practice of Benefits Matrix.  In 1989, Noel began his financial services career with New England Financial Advisors and began specializing in the qualified and non-qualified plan marketplace.  In 1994, he joined Wells Fargo Bank as a business retirement specialist and soon after was promoted to Regional Sales Manager - Institutional Trust.  His division was instrumental in solidifying Wells Fargo’s retirement plan and corporate benefit trust presence throughout California, focusing on the small to middle markets. Prior to founding Benefits Matrix, Noel was Regional Vice President with AIG/SunAmerica Retirement Markets responsible for retirement plan sales for the western region of the U.S.

Noel has a degree in accounting from the University of San Diego and earned a M.S. in Financial Services from Golden Gate University in 1990.  He has been a featured guest speaker with chambers of commerce across Arizona and California. He is active in church serving as a deacon and treasurer of the Escondido Church of Christ.
