How We Design

We work hard to earn your business.

We have decades of experience in the financial services, corporate benefits, qualified plans, trusts, and retirement plan markets, but you can read our Bio’s to learn those details. Yes, we have lots of credentials… yet we never take any company’s need to improve the healthcare benefits they are offering their employees as common or typical needs. We believe that companies, even in the same industry, have unique needs and require unique solutions.

Benefits Matrix will perform a thorough review of your existing plan and its components. We are very interested in your primary objectives and if you are not sure of them we will help you identify them. Determining your objectives by engaging your staff in the healthcare benefits conversation is a very powerful way to achieve the greatest savings from a custom designed Consumer Driven Healthcare Plan. Working with your insurance broker or bringing our own into the conversation allows us to identify the best insurance plans available that will meet your objectives. Once we have identified the several insurance plans to build a CDHP around, we will begin the process of constructing your customized Consumer Driven Healthcare Plan for each plan considered. There are many design components to consider. We have identified two dozen moving components within the IRS regulation as it relates to HRA's. We identifiy and actuarially compute the cost for each one. How do tax laws apply to your application? We can discuss that component because we understand the IRS Codes with regard to healthcare and benefits. We also have a thorough knowledge and understanding of how a Third Party Administrator can make or break a well designed Consumer Driven Healthcare Plan. Each Third Party Administrator (TPA) has unique strengths and weaknesses and we will present a Third Party Administrator whose strengths match the designed plan. Benefits Matrix will train the employees on how the plan works to their benefit. Engaging your staff early in the conversation is also educational. In small bites not only is the elephant eaten, but everyone is satisfied.
